Irene's Entropy: Letter 022

Identity of who I was: I was the preacher's daughter, and Sunday school teacher for 3 or 4 years, also a secretary for the church, cleaning staff, and "volunteer" (there was no choice I had to attend every event) for all events.

What I didn't like: I didn't like the lies, manipulation, back biting, and the constant pressure to be perfect.

My identity now: I'm a married Muslim woman with a beautiful daughter and a family that loves and respects each other. I am studying to become a psychologist and I am 100% satisfied with my new lifestyle and belief system.

The trauma still affects me and I still struggle because of the past but I'm happier now that I have left the cult.
